About the Quintas de Santo Antonio
Tracing its heritage back to the 16th century, Quinta de Santo António is anchored in the historic heart of the Dão region. The estate’s 11 hectares of vineyards flourish in granite soils, where a moderate Atlantic climate helps the grapes develop a vibrant and fresh character. This landscape is the perfect home for noble varieties like the white Encruzado and red Touriga Nacional, which are the stars of the estate.
To ensure a high-quality finish, the premium wines are aged for 12 months in oak barrels, adding structure and a sophisticated smoothness. The result is a collection of elegant wines featuring complex floral aromas and a perfectly balanced, harmonious flavour. It is a true reflection of the resilient and pure spirit of the Dão mountains.
